For months, P-H-M administrators, teachers, coaches and staff have been busy planning all the camps and activities that will be available for students when school lets out this year on Wed., June 7, 2017.
Elm Road third graders got a chance to shine in the spotlight today (Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017). Students participating in “The Great Kindness Challenge” were interviewed by WSBT-TV for a story featured on this morning’s newscasts.
Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation is nationally recognized as one of the “Best Communities for Music Education” offering choir, band, orchestra and even piano at our three middle schools.
Every P-H-M student who will be attending a P-H-M middle school as an incoming 6th grader in the Fall has the opportunity to join an instrumental music class, which includes either band or orchestra.
Wear red and/or pink for a .25 donation, to celebrate LOVE in conjunction with the Great Kindness Challenge going on here at school. Money will benefit the Silver Mile for PHM School Corporation!
Registration for kindergarten students for the 2017-2018 school year will begin at each P-H-M elementary school on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. This registration opportunity is for youngsters who live within the P-H-M district and who will be five years old on or before September 1.
Elm Road PTO will be sponsoring a family dance on February 3rd, 6:30-8:30 pm.
Jump for Heart will be the week of February 6th! We are proud to partner with the American Heart Association in fighting heart disease and stroke. You can find more info online at hear.org/jump to get started today. Last year we raised $12,900 and we are hoping to donate over $13,000 this year!
Kindergarten registration is the week of January 17-20. If you missed this week, you can still register in the office from 7:10 - 3:00 pm. Please bring your child's birth certificate, immunization records and two identifications of proof of residency. Proof of residency can be a lease/rental agreement or a utility bill and must have a current date on it. During registration, you will sign up for a time to bring your child back in May for the KDI screening assessment.
