Melissa Barnes Earns Impact Award!

Elm Road Elementary kindergarten teacher Melissa Barnes has been recognized with a P-H-M Impact Award for outstanding student growth.

From the beginning of the year to the middle of the year, Barnes’ kindergarten students demonstrated the highest growth at the grade level, achieving an impressive 55% increase. This growth reflects strong progress during the instructional period and highlights the effective learning environment created in her classroom.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Heather Short visited Elm Road Elementary to present the Impact Award and recognize Barnes for her achievement.
